Benny is one of the original band members and founders of the band. He started the band back in 1970 as the City Polka Boy's. Benny plays the accordion and sings the vocals.
Ben Orsak
Ben has been with the band since 1994. He is the band manager, along with the many other duties he performs. Ben plays the trumpet, fluegel horn, tenor and alto sax, guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, drums, and sings the vocals.
Larry Netardus
Larry has been with the band since 2009. Larry is the sound engineer, and bands recording expert. Larry plays the tenor and alto sax, keyboard, bass guitar, accordion, and sings the vocals.
Dennis Shimek
Dennis joined the band in 2011. He is the son of the late Helen Shimek Malek and Wence Shimek. Dennis plays the bass guitar and steel guitar.
John Dornak
John "drummer boy" Dornak joined the band in 2014. John has played with many country, rock, and Tejano bands over the years. He also played with his dad in the Shiner Hobo Band for a while before joining the TSC band..
Henry Machicek
Henry Machicek joined the band in November of 2021. He is the nephew to Benny and plays accordion. He also sings some of the Czech vocals. Henry formerly played with the Praha Brothers.
Former Deceased Band Members
Ernie Okruhlik (1943-2005)
Ernie is the brother of Benny and joined the band in 1994. Ernie also played with the Bobby Jones Polka Band for years.
E.J. Macik (1940-2014)
E.J. was an original member of the City Polka Boy's and Texas Sound Check Band. E.J. and Benny started the band in 1970.
Harry Macik (1944-2016)
Harry was one of the original City Polka Boy's, playing bass guitar and tuba. Harry also sang many of the vocals.
Hubert Janak (1943-2016)
Hubert was another original member of the City Polka Boy's. Hubert played the rhythm guitar, accordion, and sang many of the vocals. Hubert was know for the "Hills of Shiner Polka" he sang.
James Onheiser (1944-2011)
James was another original member of the City Polka Boy's. James played the trumpet and sang many of the vocals. James was best known for his singing of "It Took Me All Night To Get Home".
